Europe 2011 was hands-down twelve of the best days of my life. Traveling alone, in Eastern Europe, in the winter (I should have been born during the Cold War), really heightens a single girl's senses. In theory, I should have been exhausted by the weight of the whole thing, but I alarmingly felt more myself and more content than I had in a long time being at home, among my many loves and comforts. No offense to my loves and comforts. You guys are great, too.
When I came home, I wrote a thirteen page manuscript about my entire experience, to fill in the gaps on my zero posts on social media during that vaca. As opposed to copy and pasting that manuscript onto these pages, I've decided to grab bits and pieces of the highlights to share in preparation for my next trip across the pond. Enjoy at your leisure, though as you should readily know, reading my writing is rarely leisurely. Grab a coffee (enjoy your coffee like you enjoy your Margaret's: IRISH) and some snacks high in protein; these words are not for the weary of heart. Or of attention span. Godspeed.
